Explore Placemaking, the 2026 Resident Group Exhibition at Zhou B Art Center KC. Opening Friday, June 12, this exhibition brings together resident artists exploring belonging, memory, culture, and the many ways we define home through contemporary art. The exhibition will remain on view through August 29, 2026 during gallery hours Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Second Fridays Open Studios at Zhou B Art Center KC invites the public to explore resident artist studios, connect directly with creators, and experience Kansas City’s vibrant art scene. Guests are encouraged to participate in the interactive Zhou Bingo Card by meeting artists throughout the building for a fun and engaging way to complete their visit. Free and open to the public every Second Friday from 5 to 8 PM.

Begin your evening with Second Fridays Open Studios from 5:00–8:00 PM, where you can explore resident artist studios and the Placemaking exhibition, then stay for the inaugural concert featuring Kansas City singer, songwriter, and performer Jamogi.
