Second Fridays Open Studios
Experience one of Kansas City's favorite monthly arts events during Second Fridays Open Studios at Zhou B Art Center Kansas City. On Friday, August 14, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, visitors are invited to explore the studios of our resident artists, meet the creatives behind the work, and gain a firsthand look at the artistic process in a welcoming, interactive environment.
While you're here, don't miss Placemaking, our current Resident Group Exhibition, featuring artwork that explores themes of home, identity, memory, and belonging through painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Whether you're an avid art collector, a first-time visitor, or simply looking for an inspiring evening out, Second Fridays offers a unique opportunity to connect with Kansas City's thriving creative community.
If you'd like to extend your evening, stay for the debut of Spirit & Song, our new seasonal concert series featuring Kansas City singer, songwriter, and performer Jamogi. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the concert beginning at 7:00 PM. Spirit & Song is a ticketed event, and tickets are available now.
