Exhibition Description: Welcome to Unreliable Narrator, award winning artist Bryce Holt’s vibrant pop art surrealism in which the visual is only the beginning. Each painting is paired with a story, inviting the viewer to actively participate in the unfolding drama. Just as an unreliable narrator in literature demands critical engagement, these paintings compel viewers to question the boundary between fact and fiction. Is there shared meaning between the viewer’s visual encounter with the artwork and the story behind each piece. Unreliable Narrator explores storytelling’s blurring of reality and imagination, inviting us to play at the edges of our own perception.
