Imagine you're wandering around your city after a gentle rain at dusk, and all of the sudden the street lamps come on. The lights begin to sparkle everywhere you look, and the smell of the rain with the lights brings a smile to your face and you stop to admire the view. Who are you dreaming of? This piece was a nostalgic and romantic piece created by the dream team from Impression Studios. Austin and Charlie brought to life a piece Charlie completed 13 years ago, demonstrating tremendous growth in use of techniques with lighting, color work, and texture.

A field of poppies was chosen deliberately to symbolize the need for rest, as poppies are known for being a natural sleep aid. This characterization of Charlie's own exploration of trauma recovery depicts the feeling of accomplishment when the focus shifts from survival to thriving.
