If we depend on trends to decide if we should love ourselves, we never will. Our hair defies gravity regardless or not if big hair is "in". Our lips were full before America deemed it as "desirable", and we've never needed a spray tan for our skin to be "sun-kissed". So whatever society decides is the "new black" I promise we had it first.
