Feliz Kehinde (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kansas City whose practice spans acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. Rooted in their identity as a Black, queer artist, Feliz’s paintings incorporate themes of protection and resistance, love and community. Sometimes loud and defiant, sometimes quiet and intimate. Feliz creates spaces where meaning can unfold and where the work is allowed to speak in its own voice. On the heels of a 2025 residency at InterUrban ArtHouse, Feliz continues to explore the intersections of identity and collective care from their IUAH studio.
