New Exhibition Opening
We’re thrilled to invite you to the opening of All the Ways We Want: Power and Tenderness in Contemporary Portraiture at Zhou B Art Center KC on Friday, August 23! This exciting exhibition features the dynamic works of Chicago-based artists Jas Petersen and Nashville-based Spenny Liautaud, who explore identity, vulnerability, and the complex dualities of human expression through bold figurative and abstract art.
Join us for Opening Night:
7 PM — Artist Talk: Hear directly from Jas and Spenny as they discuss their powerful creative visions.
8–11 PM — Reception: Enjoy music, refreshments, and a first look at the full exhibition.
While the reception is free, we ask for a suggested donation to attend the Artist Talk. Your support helps The Zhou B Art Foundation continue its mission to empower artists and nurture an inclusive, sustainable arts community in Kansas City. Help us grow our platforms, resources, educational outreach, artist subsidies, and connect local creatives with regional and national professionals—all made possible by generous donors like you.
By donating when you RSVP, you’re investing in the future of art and artists, helping build a vibrant, accessible ecosystem for all to thrive.
