About the Work:

This sculpture is a wood carving based on a sink faucet I found in my father’s utility shed. He was a carpenter but was more of an everyman when it came to building houses. As an immigrant, he often has to work harder for the same as a native-born worker so he made himself the ultimate asset for any construction crew. This faucet is a comedic homage to that immigrant mindset to prove your worth through work.
